Proverb for Life - Proverbs 12:15  The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice. I have been so blessed with wise counselors in my life. People who have been where I am now. People who have learned from experiences I have yet to face. I am so grateful for the willingness of these people to pour into my life the wisdom God has given them.  They have encouraged me, led me, taught me, equipped me, and helped me become more like Christ.  They have given practical advice on how to raise kids, clean toilets, and strengthen my relationship with God.  They have shared what they learned after 30+ years of marriage to help make mine strong. Proverb for Life - Proverbs 26:12  Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him. Coming up with an activity for pride proved much more challenging than I thought it would!  It is easy to describe pride to my children but to show them how it plays out in our lives was a little tricky...that is until my amazing Superman of a husband thought of this great activity. (Yup, that's why I married him 8 years ago today; he's superman!!) To do this activity you'll need the following: Crisco brown sugar sugar vanilla eggs flour baking soda salt chocolate chips (heath chips totally optional but I love them!)
